Best Cleanser And Toner For Acne Prone Skin

Posted by On September - 29 - 2008

Acne is something many people struggle with.

I have struggled with it for a long time and after many products I have finally found what works.  I tried the drugstore brands such as Neutrogina and Oxy but that stuff only helped a little.  Proactiv is ok, but many  people say it dries out the skin too much. The stuff I use is Biotherm.

It’s a little more expensive but is very good.  If you buy a toner and a cleanser it will last you for about 3 months.  It’s about 20 bucks for each product so 40 all together.

It is pretty great and really helped me so if you have acne give this a try.  If you don’t wanna spend a lot of money just buy the cleanser alone.  It won’t work as well but it will be about 80% effective without toner, which is still MUCH MUCH better then anything else I tried.  Try it, in my opinion it is well worth the money.

How To Shop For Jeans

Posted by On September - 18 - 2008

Shopping for pants can be a nightmare.

We have all seen a person walking down the street wearing pants four sizes too small. The muffin top hanging out, the fat jiggling and while they are amusing to look at, you definitely don’t want to be that person. For this reason shopping for jeans is always a nightmare, unless you are a size 0 because that is the only size that looks good in jeans. So it can be very difficult to find pants, but it is even more difficult to shop for jeans, because jeans can really emphasize
the dreaded muffin top. To tell you the truth I am not a fan of jeans and do not wear them unless its necessary.  When it is necessary here are the rules I follow so I don’t look like a fool in jeans.

1. Bring a friend with you. If you shop together, you can get honest feedback on the spot.
2. When trying on pants make sure they fit comfortably when you stand and when you sit. Bend down to see if they fit ok and to make sure they  fit comfortably.
3. If you do decide you buy them, make sure there is a return policy at the store, that way if you get home and change your mind you can always go back and return them.
4. Buy jeans for the size you are right now. Don’t buy them for when you lose 10 pounds, or for after the holidays, or for when you lose weight in the summer. Buy them for the way you look right now. If you look good in them then buy them. If you can’t feel comfortable in them, leave them for someone else.
5. Make sure the style of the jeans flatters your body shape. Don’t rush, try on a few styles, see which ones you like best and buy them.

Next time you are shopping for jeans try to follow these simple tips and I am sure you will look great!
