How To Look Good In A Bikini

Posted by On July - 25 - 2008

There are a few things you need to know when choosing a bikini.  Otherwise you may end up looking like this beautiful lady on the left. So here are some tips to avoid this “look”:

- don’t wear a bikini that is too small. This seems obvious but many people are wearing ridiculously small sizes. The big reason is that when you wear something only a few times a year it is hard to remember that when you wore it last, you didn’t have the extra 10 pounds on your hips.
- don’t wear a bikini if you don’t think you look good enough to wear it. Plain and simple. If you do wear it you will spend the day trying to suck in your stomach and feeling generally uncomfortable.
-buy a flattering color bathing suit. If you feel fat don’t buy white.  Don’t buy horizontal stripes or any other pattern that highlights your problem areas.
-bring someone with you who you trust so they can help you find the bathing suit that looks good. Second opinion is important, so bring a friend and be ready to accept some honest feedback.
-buy the bathing suit style that best suits your body. Pick a bathing suit that will be both comfortable and that looks great. Do not substitute comfort for fashion. It is not worth it to look good if you are uncomfortable.

Have fun shopping!
